In Greek mythology, Tyndareus (/ tɪnˈdɛriəs /; Ancient Greek: Τυνδάρεος, Tundáreos; Attic: Τυνδάρεως, Tundáreōs; [tyndáreɔːs]) was a Spartan king. Tyndareus was the son of Oebalus (or Perieres [2]) and Gorgophone [3] (or Bateia).
