2009年6月11日 · After researching, thinking, talking, and more thinking about what zero turn to buy for the last month I purchased a Kubota ZG227 last week with 4 hours on it (dealers demo) for $7500. It now has 20 hours on it and this week I have cut in a variety of conditions with it. The mower is equipped with a 27hp Kubota gas engine, with a 54'' deck.

2004年3月5日 · I know a 4wheel drive mower or dedicated hillside machine like the Hustler 6400 will do better.But its not cost effective to own those machines for a couple hours work per week. The Kubota ZD holds on a side hill better than many. I have used HUSTLER Z 60, EXMARK 60 , and the GRASSHOPPER on same slopes as the KUBOTA. The kubota holds 50% better.

2006年6月18日 · Have had Kubota mowers since 1981. One thing about Kubota...we have found they stand behind the product. We currently have 3 ZD's. We have had some transmission issues with each. Kubota has realized the problem and came up with a solution as far as I can tell. They also doubled the transmission warranty on our machines.

2007年6月24日 · I've run Toro 252 / 62" Z's, Ferris IS4000 / 61" zero turns, Snapper front mount / 61" deck and (2) Kubota ZD28's / 60" deck. This is the first 72" deck that I've run. A little background, so you all know what I'm comparing against. Pros: 1) The new seat is WONDERFUL.

2006年4月5日 · As far as my operation goes, I trade mowers every 2-3 years, and the extra cost for the diesel, it doesn't make much sense for myself, since by the time I trade with 1200-1500 hours on a mower, the engine is basically just getting broken in.

2024年4月27日 · I have been shopping zero turn looking at Kubota. (400 series) John Deer (7000 series) and Bobcat 3500 series. I think I am comparing apples to apples. I am wanting a commercial grade unit. Bobcat currently has a rebate going and I can get the ZT 3552SG for $7711 ($8150 with taxes).. This is at least 2K under the others.

2005年10月4日 · Some machines, ie. most commercial mowers, weigh in at over 1,000 pounds, and that's starting at a 48" cut. I have tried about 5 different brands and none will do a true zero degree turn without tearing sensitive turf. the only way around it is to do a 3 point turn or any tactic you see possible to avoid the turf damage. I run Dixon mowers.
