2022年9月19日 · Occasionally the TV will have an issue (most recently it wasn’t getting internet speeds it should) that I would ordinarily restart my TV to fix. Unplugging the TV solved the aforementioned internet speed issue, but there has got to be a way to reset without unplugging.

2022年10月11日 · FWIW - TV hard reset from LG (just today): Turn off the TV first then, unplug it from the wall outlet for 1 minute. While the tv is off and unplugged, press and hold the power button on the TV itself for about 20 seconds.

2020年1月11日 · It works, but only when your TV wants to restart due to downloaded updates. TV wants to restart when you can find something like this in General Settings -> About this TV -> "OS will update on next TV restart" (I have Czech localization so the wording will be different). I have just tested this with a brand new C9. It did two updates in a row.

I just got a brand new LG OLED G3 OLED55G3PUA. I connected it to wifi so I could performing an update. The update screen now says that that the update will be installed after restarting the TV. So what am I missing here? How do I "restart" the tv. The power button just puts it to sleep.

2022年1月22日 · A complicated device will sometimes get stuck and need rebooting, and LG permanently attaches their power cords to the TV, so one is left with either tracking down the other end of the cord to unplug (which may be particularly difficult with a wall-mounted TV), or… doing this stupid half-assed dance of rejecting and reapproving license ...

This shortcut is a hard restart and will result in disconnecting external monitor. 2.The method described in the post is a workaround to address a problem with LG TVs and Nvidia graphics cards where the TV fails to detect the Nvidia graphics card.
