2018年12月15日 · I purchased a Laguna Revo 24-36 a few years ago and have begun to wonder if I messed up? The lathe itself is wonderful. I have no issues with it or Laguna. I have noticed that they do not make this model any longer. I'm wondering if anyone has some input on Lagunas reasoning for dropping it.

2021年8月1日 · But it's definitely electrical and could happen to any lathe. I would put a call in to Laguna and speak to a tech and see what they suggest. It could be something simple. Sometimes if you access the inside of electronics/switches and blow them out with compressed air it will fix things like this. When that doesn't work, Im pretty lost lol...

2018年9月27日 · One month ago my Laguna 18/36 lathe arrived and I was excited. My previous lathe was from General Tools. It did not have any bells or whistles, but it was a dependable workhorse and I wish I had that lathe now. 1. If dust or small chips get wedged in the banjo clamp handle it will not lock in place.

2020年1月23日 · The Laguna 2436 Revo has 2 spindle bearings, and the Grizzly G0800 has 3 heavy duty spindle bearings all bigger than a baseball. The smallest being 80 mm, and the other 2 being 85mm diameter.

2020年8月25日 · Sounds like an intermittent problem, most intermittent electrical problems are do to a "broken wire" or a "poor solder joint", sometimes a bad switch or potentiometer. Any of those problems could happen after years of vibration from use.

2018年11月28日 · I bought the Revo 24/36 about three months ago. After two months of not too much use, I noticed a noise at the spindle area when the lathe was spinning at about 200 rpm. Not long thereafter, while turning a bottle stopper, I removed the spur drive to insert the threaded arbor to hold the stopper.

2018年3月1日 · Apparently Laguna has listen to feedback from message boards & letters from dissatisfied owners of their machnes and made some improvements in customer service. 2020年12月16日 · I picked up my 24-36 in late November 2018, took it home, assembled it and have mostly been having fun ever since. There was an issue with an overheating spindle drive bearing, but that was replaced pronto, no questions asked at all.
