The Leopard 1A4 This sixth batch was produced between 1974 and 1978, counting 250 vehicles. This included a new computerized FCS coupled with the new EMES 12A1 sighting system.

The Leopard 1A1A2 and A1A4 has an LLLTV observation and sighting system. The engine compartment at the rear is separated from the fighting compartment by a fireproof bulkhead.
