2021年9月9日 · The 3D All Stars port of Mario 64 made me happier with Mario 64 than I've ever been. I see people like the OP say this a lot, and the reason that makes me happy is because it makes me feel vindicated. It's a real told you so moment for me. I played Mario 64 for the first time in 2007 on Wii Virtual Console and I thought it sucked back then.

Guess what... every single non-mario 3D platformer is a lesser experience compared to the other 3D Marios and Sunshine is still better than the vast majority of them.

However half-assed those ports may be, it would still be a waste if Nintendo only saw fit to release them this one time for sale for less than a year.
