@Alter Ego Mary Nelson was NOT fired. She resigned after a few years at QVC to return to Omaha, Nebraska with her husband who is in the golfing profession. His parents also live in Omaha. They are much happier with their family and friends in Omaha, than they were in the whirlwind of PA life.

I enjoyed watching Mary Nelson, as well and thought she was a great host! I hate it when people are so mean. Another host, Cathy Pedayes left QVC for whatever issues QVC had with her and she was a funny, cute and creative host.

Feb 1, 2018 · Mary Nelson is a professional is the true sense of the word. She also has the integrity to know she is selling products and not everyone's "great friend". What reason would any QVC customer need to know something so personal as why a host has been gone for six weeks? Mary squashed the rumor mill before it began! Bravo, Mary.
