2018年5月14日 · Mend it seems to be one of those products. Would something like gorilla glue work to "mend" soft plastic baits back together? I realize that mend it is not a glue but rather a chemical reaction substance, but the only thing I can find locally is something called JB weld which sounds similar but more industrial/extreme.

2010年7月25日 · The glue itself works pretty good on the bigger main body parts, not so good on small appendages. A wood burning tool with an exacto blade attachment is what I use and it works awesome. Not trying to bash, just telling my experience.

2013年5月3日 · Mend it takes a little getting used to, to work with, and you have to wait a bit for the glue to fuse the plastic pieces together. In another words, once you put the glue on, hold the two pieces together that need to be glued, and then I would wait a couple of hours before I would throw the bait, or preferably the next day.

2011年4月15日 · Another test. Take a worm and put some pvc glue on it. Let it cure. Now see if you can peal it off. You most likley can. You absolutley can not peal the Mend-it off. It is a different chemical. Again I know this for a fact because I know what I used to make Mend-it. Go ahead and thin the pvc glue with accetone and report back on how good it works.

2008年6月2日 · alright in all my excitment about a cheaper glue, i come to find out (after recieving it) that it is only for a 1/3 oz. (9.3grams or so). At this rate, mend -it is actually cheaper by weight. Well i guess the next step is to jsut test it. as of right now, superficially i see that the liquid inside looks a little thick (very viscous).

2016年10月4日 · Mend it. It's a lifesaver and extends the life of my plastics by a factor of 3 usually. It isn't nearly as effective on Z Man Plastics because it usually peels off, but it is better than nothing. But Z man plastics last 3 or 4 times longer than regular plastics anyway.
