Feather falling is absolutely essential for your boots and depth strider is very helpful too. Put projectile protection, fire protection, and blast protection on one peice of armor each. The wiki has a page on how protection enchants stack, but basically if you have 2 blast protection and 2 fire protection you’d have the maximum amount of protection against blazes and creepers. I usually roll with 1 each fire and blast protection, and 2 generic protection in the overworld or if I’m only taking a short jaunt through the nether.

Feb 27, 2020 · Always enchant your whole armor with Protection IV, it protects you from ALL types of damage, and if you have that you can swim in lava and survive by just eating some food, the other types of protection are kind of a waste of diamond armor
