Anyone got problems with the mr buddy heater?
2007年1月26日 · Im not fond of the mr buddy heater systems either.A friend of mine has the same problem with his and its brand new.It will burn about 15 minutes to 1/2 hour then go out.Not sure if its related to the sensor that detrmins lack of O2 or not.Doesnt seem to matter if its enclosed or a sheltered area.Seems to have the problem when running on 1lb bottles but not hooked up to a …

Shut the heater down by turning off the 20lb. tank valve, letting the heater burn up the fuel left in the hose. Even with the oil-less hose there is a chance of oil build up if you leave fuel in the connection hose each time you shut it down.

2021年2月15日 · No filter or regulator. My understanding is that off brand hoses have the oil issue. My hose is Mr. Heater brand same as the Buddy Heater. It’s not just the off brand hoses that have the oil issues. I don’t know the part #’s but there is a couple certain mr heater hoses that they say do not have the oil problem.

2009年10月29日 · My grand father used to use a heater, not sure if it was a Buddy Heater or not. One thing to remember, don't light it in the dark. Again, I don't know if he had a Buddy Heater, or if they glow, but his sure did. In the morning, I would look across the field, and his blind looked like a jack-o-lantern.:lol: It would glow untill the sun came up.

2005年1月17日 · Apparently, when the Buddy's are hooked up to the big propane tanks, you're supposed to shut off the propane at the tank and let the heater burn itself out. If you shut it off at the heater, (like 99% of us do,) the propane in the hose is under high pressure. This can cause the hose to produce an oily substance that can gunk up your heater.

2017年9月30日 · We had a similar problem with our forklifts at work when we switched brands of propane.The fuel lines were getting eaten up by the fuel.Switched out the lines and problem solved.It had something to do with the perfume that is added to make it stink.After changing out the fuel lines we did have to clean out the throttle body,evaporator ,and regulator on each one.
