Things you wish you knew/did prior to getting an offset smoker?
2023年4月23日 · What do you know now you wish you spent more time learning about or preparing for prior to getting your offset smoker? Tips and Tricks? Some of the things I am looking into for my preparation is wood (cost, storage, wood types, split size) and the big one, fire management. I have learned some skills with the WSM but nothing like using an offset.

2019年3月24日 · The hanger on the bottom of the smoker is a dead giveaway. Mine is a Cimarron limited, and it has a shield in the smoke chamber directly over the firebox and pointing down in a 45° angle. I haven't seen any like that yet. Mine also has a port for a propane log lighter. They are awesome smokers. This was when Roger Davidson was building them.

2016年5月11日 · Hi Daniel I have Weber kettles, a bullet smoker and also an offset.The main benefit of the offset smoker is it will give you cooking quantity (providing you get a reasonable size one) however, whereas the WSM is really fire up and forget (OK I exagerate slightly) you will find the offset smoker a lot more work.
