2019年5月4日 · My tent is 12x17, and the Trail Boss heats it up just fine. I can keep the temperature in the tent at a comfortable level even in the coldest weather. Last year i also bought a Dweller Max 3 camping pellet stove. The Dweller Max is great for camping as well as parties at home on our patio.

2023年2月12日 · It might be fine in 40 degrees in a smaller tent, but was lucky to keep it 48 to 50 degrees inside when temps were at 12 to 18 degrees for lows at night. Plus a 30 lb tank was gone in two nights. I really feel these LP heaters were designed for small 0ne and two person tents. So I have also tried pellet stove fed by gravity.

2010年7月6日 · I have a 12 x 14 tent and the Hunter stove and am planning on adding the pellet feeder before hunting season. I have burned wood but I really like the idea of having a consistent burn using pellets. Most of my hunts are 4-5 days so taking that many bags of pellets is doable and supplementing with wood if/when needed.

Sometimes its hotter than hell and then a few hours later its colder than crap! So we were tossing ideas around and this was an unanswered idea.-Does anyone use one during elk season?

2020年3月9日 · As for stoves, I am still searching for the perfect tent stove that has adjustable heat and will last 6 to 8 hours. I have a Riley wrangler ( sheet metal stove) and I like it for it's weight, water tank and options, but she is a 3 to 4 hour stove. I need something tighter I can choke down. I had my wrangler converted to pellets last year.

I will be heating a 12X14 canvas tent + 12X10 cookshack sometimes. Any recommendations out there? The stove will be always be used for road camping, so weight isn't an issue. I want good burn time as I have had tent stoves in the past and really don't want something I need to stoke in the middle of the night.

2014年12月3日 · The Davis tent is a well made tent and you'll be happy with it. I'm sure Bravo makes a quality tent also. My only suggestion is get something a little bigger, especially if you drive to your hunting camp. The extra room is worth the extra weight. My 12x14 is a good comfortable camp with two cots, a stove and all your gear.

2023年2月28日 · If so I would buy a 3'x5'x 1/4" piece of hardy backer used under tile floors and put it behind your stove if you want to run it closer to the wall. Usually it is easily hung from the bar at the top of the side wall. My fear of putting the stove too close to a wall is if the wind pushes the tent in and it touches the stove while I am asleep.
