2017年9月28日 · I got the Performix 11287 Graphite Pearl Metalizer Plasti Dip Spray from Amazon. It looks great! Here is a picture of flat black on the left with the glossifier and flat black on the right with the metalizer. It looks very similar to the Model S grey 21" rims.

2018年8月31日 · 7) Using the Dip-Release liquid helped, but I ended up using a dry bristle brush to scrub away all of the dip that gets stuck in the small lettering on the tire. The video shows the guy easily peel the entire excess dip on the sidewall so easily....my experience was not like that lol. 8) Definitely buy a bottle of Dip Coat Protective Spray.

2023年3月14日 · I wasted a lot of time learning how to Plasti Dip DIY. I made plenty of mistakes along the way (see below). 2) There are two "silver" Metalizer colors. Don't be an idiot like me and get the Silver Metalizer. The proper color is Bright Aluminum Metalizer. I realized that after I did all four wheels as the spray can is, literally, exactly the same.

Plasti dip is also way easier to remove so you can change your style or go back to stock chrome anytime you want! Definitely give it a try. 2021年6月18日 · I don't want to plasti-dip the trim itself because its too close to the MCU and vents for comfort, and the plasti-dip would cover the hazard and glovebox buttons. If you look closely at the vent trim, upper trim, and MCU bezel, its all this black or gunmetal color and I want to try and replicate that.

2018年8月13日 · There is another option, which is to mask and plasti-dip. This looks good as well, and there are no seams, just additional masking work. (if i were to re-do, i would probably try this method, also there are youtube vids of this process as well)
