2024年7月12日 · Someone please help me. I used Plover with my UNI and loved it. I especially loved using Typey Type. I am now in Beginning Theory and would love to drill my briefs and phrases using Typey Type. I need to have Plover in order to run Typey Type (or that was what I was told). I have the Elan Mira A3 and cannot get it to connect to Plover.

2016年7月19日 · My steno writer is the Wave, and I use the Phoenix Theory Dictionary. When I configured, I selected TX Bolt which shows it's connected but text does not appear on my machine. When I configure to keyboard, I do get text output.

2012年11月4日 · Not having typed on a real steno keyboard I have to ask about the tactile feedback from such keyboards. Also how quiet are the real steno keyboards? For the moment I intend to use micro lever switches. This would allow me to shorten or lengthen the arms that the keys sit on. Optimisation of the keyboard would come at a later date. Cheers, Hien

2015年5月21日 · In all cases of "operation modes" the board needs to work in conjunction with the Plover software in order to output real time steno. Should work in any of the modes. Which I think you understand, but from the dialog here it is hard to tell if Plover is working for you. Which if that is the case, is a completely separate issue from the OP.

If we lose that idea, then we lose a major selling point of steno, that it can be done on a steno keyboard, and thousands are doing it, at 200wpm. It exists. If you're going to ease into steno, then have it be actual steno that you ease into (is how it seems to me).
