If only power is stated, divide Watts by RMS voltage (220V) to get amps required. You mention using a 13A cord - comparing to the rated draw of the tub is necessary to determine if this cord is up for it.

I'd imagine this would take quite some time to heat up a 20000 gallon pool but if you set up a couple of pumps then this might be an attainable ...

The RCD would trip when hooked up correctly, if the hot tub had a ground fault. Typical installer move is to jury-rig it any method that will work, then get paid. This can also happen with amateur installers.

2020年12月8日 · My 2005 Hot Springs Envoy spa will not heat. Heater light is on. On the circuit board: Lim Ok has green light, HTR On has Red light. Circulation pump is running. Heater Relay Board and wires going to heater: Black wire reads 17V, White 121V, Red 121V, combo or Red & White 214V. I'm not sure why the Black would read 17V. Is that normal?

I'd like to test if my hot tub was connected to ground. The hot tub is underground and its electrical panel is not easily accessible. I'm trying to figure things out without access to the hot tub's panel. The hot tub is 240V single-phase (TT earthing system) and is connected to a 10mA GFCI in my house's main panel.
