Master GIANT Pumpkin Carving. A talented local artist will be joining us again this year to demonstrate his unique and creative skills, sponsored by Canadian Nuclear Laboratories. You can watch him carve giant pumpkins both Saturday and Sunday located outside the Bruce Power Weigh - Off Arena at the festival. Details
About Us - Pumpkinfest
The first weigh-off, called "The Great Pumpkin Event" was held in 1986 with crowds of 200 and pumpkins weighing up to 250lbs. The one day festival was held at Coulter's Parkette in downtown Port Elgin.
