Pyeongtaek (Korean: 평택; Korean pronunciation: [ˈpʰjʌŋ.tʰɛk̚]) is a city in Gyeonggi Province, South Korea. Located in the southwestern part of the province, Pyeongtaek was founded as a union of two districts in 1940.

Located along the western coast of South Korea within the seaport city of Pyeongtaek, approximately 40 miles south of Seoul, U.S. Army Garrison (Camp) Humphreys is the "Army's Home in Korea."
