RTC Transit, changed from Citizens Area Transit (CAT) in 2008, is the public transit system serving the greater Las Vegas, Nevada area.

RTC currently operates mainly New Flyer, Alexander Dennis and Wright StreetCar RTV coaches for fixed routes, and mainly Ford Econoline vans for paratransit. A 2007 Deuce bus making its first-run debut at the South Strip Transfer Terminal. On October 27, 2005, CAT added a fleet of double decker buses on The Strip Route.

Regional Transportation Commission of Washoe County is the public transit provider for the cities of Reno and Sparks, Nevada. It was formed in 1979 by the combination of three different governmental bodies by the Nevada legislature. Current Fares. Wrapped for and used on Sierra Spirit service. The RTC added an additional 17 new hybrid buses to its fleet in February 2021. The New Flyer Hybrid electric/biodiesel buses replaced aging, end-of-life vehicles. As of February 2021, 55 out of the 68 buses in RTC’s fleet, or more than 80%, are hybrid or electric alternative-fuel vehicles.
