He is a ok champ before buff, yes he definitely benefitted from buff, but there are atleast like 15 trash science champs who could be buffed before red guardian. Anyways he got it and got one nice. Only if kabam puts same effort on tech champs lol.

Red Guardian engages the enemy in single combat. Creates 2 strength 44 Attack tiles and stuns both Red Guardian and the target for 1 turn. If there are 5 or more friendly Protect tiles on the board, stuns the target for 1 additional turn. (Max level strength 85 tiles)

Feb 1, 2024 · It's too soon to say. @smdam38 All we know is that Red Guardian is having a minor buff. Some of the folk posting (like @Pikolu) took part in the beta test for him; so have got some idea of what's coming. However, no-one knows exactly how Kabam will have decided to adjust his design based on the results of the beta.

Apr 19, 2024 · Exact same thing will happen with Red Guardian, they'll only start paying attention when he gets added as a 7*. I think kate also fits this. People thought I was an idiot for taking kate to R4 when she first came out, but look at all those naysayers now lmao.

Red Guardian I don't see him being of that much help in 6.1 act least. As a path clearer maybe but most bosses would simply destroy him, especially 6.1.5 Crossbones. I'd say the choice depends on how well stacked you are (or not) already on the mutant and science departments.

However I held of ranking him up purely so I could reach valiant, well now that I have gave him a rank 3 - 4 Gem oh gosh the damage is insane, sometimes it’s rng with the crits however the trauma keeps the damage going and when that crits, oh boy the results are lovely.
