2025年1月12日 · - Using several disk partition tools to move or resize partitions. The Microsoft Reserved Partition is between C and the SRP so it won't let me increase the size of the SRP or move it. I can't resize the MRP at all. I've tried EaseUS, PartitionWizard, and AOMEI. AOMEI seems to have the option but it requires payment.

Then, navigate to the Fonts folder by typing cd EFI\Microsoft\Boot\Fonts. Once there, type del *.* to delete font files. I am trying to relocate the 'System Reserved' partition to my first hard disk so that I can remove this second hard disk from my machine. I am able to shrink the size of the C:\ drive on the first hard disk by a sufficient amount for the 'System Reserved' partition.

2015年12月16日 · On MBR disk, Windows 10 requires a 500MB system reserved partition, while 100MB in Windows 7, so you can try to extend system reserved partition. In disk management, you can only extend partition using the unallocated space next to its right side. so even if you shrink D: drive, the option to extend the efi partition is still grayed out.

That partition may appear empty, it is not, it contains hidden system files, please do not interact with that partition. Right click your Desktop and choose Disk Management In Disk Management, find that System Reserved partition, right click that and chose 'Change drive letter, then click the button to remove the drive letter and apply that

2024年12月8日 · Computer end users did not know that it was not going into the primary partition but into the system partition. The file location was confirmed using Minitool. For more than 5 years this blocked Windows upgrades (the upgrades kept creating rollback, setuperr, and setupact files). The upgrade failure logs reported the insufficient partition size.
