2006年1月28日 · Ladies, when you relax your hair, do you lose much hair during the process. I'm 4/b with a little 4a and I use Revlon Regular Lye. Well, I was 13 weeks post and relaxed my hair in sections as usual. Shampooed about 4 times with a neutralize as usual. That's when it happened. I looked down and noticed that I had a lot of hair in the sink.

2006年2月13日 · i use Affirm Sensitive scalp for normal hair. Its no lye, but my new stylist left it on long enough and combed the roots and my hair got pretty straight, but not limp. I think the key to getting your hair straight is leaving it for the right amount of time for YOU.

2005年1月13日 · I was looking at Cathy Howse's website and she strongly advises against switching relaxers. But I have friends who are relaxer "hos", meaning they'll grab any ol' kit off the shelf and use it with no problem. I am not a "ho", but I have switched before. Usually the switch was done to me, my stylist switched to a cheaper perm w/o my knowledge.
