2021年7月10日 · The ride south from mid-lake to Como passes many lakeside villas. We didn't find anything interesting in the ride south from mid-lake to Lecco. Our favorite Lake Como towns to visit are Varenna, Bellagio, Menaggio, Lenno, Tremezzo, Griante, and Cadenabbia, all easily reachable on the mid-lake ferry route.

I always make Castelrotto my home base in the Dolomites, and stay at the Hotel Zum Wulf. On Lake Como, Its Varenna, and the Hotel MIlano. Of course, there are many picturesque towns around the lake to explore, as well as some islands.

2019年1月21日 · Look in mid-lake: Varenna or Menaggio are good. Bellagio if you want something higher end. You'll want to investigate individual properties, in addition to getting recommendations here. Don't even think about staying in the town of Como itself, scenery much better in the central/mid-lake area.

2019年6月30日 · The second time we stayed on Lake Como we stayed in Varenna at the Hotel Olivedo, which was very nice. The rooms were extremely clean and the staff was first-rate. The navetta (Ferry) is just in front of the property. It is also very handy to the train station. We cruised the lake a few times and really liked the experience.
