2024年8月6日 · Ballistics are better than the 450BM with noticeably less recoil. Much lighter bullets offered than the 400L offering equal ballistics to the 308 win with 180 grain bullets out to nearly 300 yards. The BC effects the bullet beyond that range lowering the performance of the 308 beyond that. Probably still a 400 yard rifle.

2018年3月10日 · 44 mag out of a rifle has about 1/2 the recoil, and 1/2 the effective whitetail range of a 450 Bushmaster in the hands of a capable shooter (150 yards and 13ish ftlbs of recoil energy vs 300 yards and 20ish ftlbs) Mind you these rounds are anything but flat at those ranges. Hunting 44 mag rounds should run you about 90 cents a pull.

2016年10月14日 · A 450 is similar to a muzzleloader but more than a .44 mag rifle. Factory ammo is very manageable think 30-30, 308-ish. With handloads, you can tune it down to a ar15 type recoiling rifle. I recently loaded some 225ftx's with 26grains of lil gun powder. My 9 yo son can shoot it with ease. Magazine after magazine no problems.

I don't know about the model number, but I prefer the Sporting Clays model Decellerator pads. They have a small hard plastic insert right at the top of the pad which aids in shouldering the rifle/shotgun.

2017年1月9日 · A good muzzle break with decrease recoil but increase noise. I have a Browning BAR in 300 win mag with the BOSS muzzlebreak. My wife can shoot it all day long accuratly and she is very recoil sensitive. With the BOSS muzzle break, there is no felt recoil, just a ton of noise.

Fury bullet OAL of 2.123" If they make the cartridge 1.8" or even 1.7" load it for a bolt action only forget the AR-15 it will be a very good cartridge.....biggest problem is 400 caliber bullets there are very few designed for a rifle velocity.....
