The Town of Roxbury is proud to announce the establishment of the “Renewable Award” -- a newly formed education grant recognizing residents of the Town who are graduating high school seniors and have demonstrated excellence and commitment to their Town.

The State of Maine has authorized Roxbury to re-register or collect excise only for certain automobiles, trucks and recreational vehicles. An excise tax is paid and kept by Roxbury. Other registration fees are collected, and forwarded to the State of Maine. The excise tax is based on the sticker price, or original list price of the vehicle.
