2021年4月9日 · The Max-9 looks like Ruger’s attempt to cash on on the higher round count micro 9mm market, like the Sig P365 and the Springfield Hellcat. I’m very satisfied with my EC9S, but saw the Max-9 on display today, and it looks good. Those big sights though, looked pretty big for a pistol that might be carried in a pocket.

2024年12月8日 · The PC carbine would be direct competition within the brand and there are lots of 9mm carbines on the market with the pistol style in-grip magwell (Keltec, Hi Point, S&W, carbine conversion kits, etc). While I am a Ruger fan, I think some of the competing products on the market at similar price point are also good choices.

2021年7月30日 · I own a EC9s and a full sized Sec 9. If I was you, I'd drop the EC9 idea and compare the Max 9 to the Sec 9 Compact. I'd think the full sized mags will fit in the compact, but there'd be a gap + I'm sure Ruger has a spacer for that. Tryin to compare a single stack to a double stack is like tryin to compare one beer to two beers.

Like the LCR22 and others etc. Had one guy at the range cursing Beretta because his new APX was Shooting low. He was cursing Beretta Customer service because they sent it back and told him nothing was wrong with the gun.

2018年6月23日 · It went back to Ruger after only a couple of weeks, safety lever would engage while firing. Ruger fixes it & has it back to me in 8 days. Then the recoil rod assemblies start to fly apart. Ruger sends me new ones twice but decided to get a Galloway Precision recoil setup, the Galloway fixes the recoil rod issues.

I assume I am correct in that the extractor is supposed to clip into the rim of the case a pull the spent case to the rear against the ejector as the slide moves back. Correct? 2020年5月28日 · You should not have even tried those Underwood loads in a gun like that. A 9mm isn't a magnum. If you want to shoot those heavy +P loads I'd recommend finding a P89. Those all steel Ruger 9mm pistols can take a pounding. Of course if you are going to carry a steel 9mm, you might as well go with a GP and have a real woods gun.

After the fact, it sounds like he said that to look good. Fortunately for you, Ruger does take care of their customers. Hope your pistol runs flawlessly going forward.
