I've put maybe 1,000 rounds through it and ratcheted & released it a couple of hundred times and it is still so stiff that my wife can hardly rack it. Is there an alternative spring? I have seen other editions of the same weapon that have far less spring stiffness.

2019年11月10日 · The +P 9mm 124gr HP causes more expansion than standard 9mm HP, similar to that of a .40 FMJ. There are countless stories of ppl that fired a standard 9mm round at a target and it didn’t have the shock factor to initially stop the threat. A bigger hole in the target results in more stopping power.

I have used winchester white box 100ct, federal bulk, blazer aluminum casing, blazer brass, and remington UMC all 115gr, some winchester 147gr hollow point, Remington 115gr hollowpoint and for a personal protection round Winchester PDX1 defender hollowpoint 124gr +P.

2013年7月12日 · I have a Shield 40, I have only gone thru a few hundred rounds, " several brands of FMJ and HP" with no issues at all. I have a Glock 23 and the Shield has less snap than the 23, and accuracy is about equal. It is a pleasure to carry with my IWB infidel holster. I love the Shield.

2022年3月9日 · Welcome to the forum. I have never seen a threaded barrel for a Shield EZ offered in the marketplace. Before you proceed on your project, there are likely a number of issues that could interfere with making a suppressor perform well on one of them.

2017年8月6日 · I have a Shield 9mm and my son also bought one after shooting mine. We have fired over 1000 rounds through mine and probably another 1000 through his. I have used Magtech 115g, 115 g Wolf Polyformance, Fiocchi Shooting Dynamics 115g, Hornady Critical Defense 115, and Federal HST 124g.
