SSD not working when plugged in via SATA to USB 3.0 Adapter
2018年3月6日 · Hello, I have recently purchased an SSD 120GB from Kingston A400 when i plug it in to any of the USB Ports it doesnt appear under this PC but when i click into the Task Manager it shows up. Anyone know how to resolve this since i want to clone my HDD onto this SDD instead of installing Windows 10 using Boot Device and Media Creation Tool.

2019年7月29日 · From this point on, you can download a cloning program, usually, cost $50.00 and clone your original HDD into the SDD, it will take about 2 hours for a 250GB HDD to transfer to a 250GB SDD. My desktop recognizes the already formatted SSD drive. I'm concerned however that I might find myself installing Windows 10 to the desktop drive, which already has it.

2022年10月30日 · Wanted to upgrade my 2 laptops and desktop hard drives to SSD. Bought 2 WD 500gb SSD's and a WD 1T SSD. Also bought a wavlink usb to sata adapter and used Macrium Reflec for cloning. Connected the first WD 500 to my Dell Inspiron (Win 10 Home) using Wavlink and proceeded to clone. Worked perfectly and replaced the drive with the SSD.

It is being recognized in here.

2024年1月14日 · I have 3 external m.2 NVMe drives (in USB enclosures). These were working fine, then suddenly Windows 11 does not see them. The same problem on both my laptop and PC, so the problem must be common to both. Laptop running 22H2, PC running 23H2 (PC updated from 22H2 on 12/01/2024). The drives do not show in Disk Management.
