Sam Bregman is a seasoned litigator with nearly three decades of trial experience. He was appointed by Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham as District Attorney of Bernalillo County in January 2023. This year Bregman was honored when voters elected him to continue serving the residents of Bernalillo County.

Sam Bregman is running for Bernalillo County District Attorney to continue his decades-long track record of fighting to make his community more safe and just. A proud graduate of the University of New Mexico School of Law, Sam began his career as a prosecutor over 30 years ago as a way to give back to his community.

Sam Bregman has over thirty years of legal experience fighting to bring justice to those who have been wronged. Now, having served as District Attorney since January of 2023, Sam is running to build a more efficient justice system, combat rising crime, and build safer communities for everyone in Bernalillo County.
