2022年8月11日 · Problem solved i'm using the 970 evo plus 2TB as i write this .The issue cause (for me) was that the samsung NVMe driver was outdated as soon as i updated this driver the bios was recognizing the drive and i could restore the macrium reflect 8 backup. 2019年1月23日 · I upgraded it prior to a EVO 960 1TB drive, and then ran low on disk space. Purchased the EVO 970 2TB drive, and installed it with no issue. Also was able to easily use Clonezilla to do a disk to disk clone from the 960 to the 970, and then GParted Live to expand the resulting partitions on the 970 following the clone.

This is just how I swapped my 512gb Toshiba NVME with no adaptors, it might not be the best way but it worked for me, so I thought I would share and hopefully help someone who is wanting to do the swap.

2021年12月4日 · It came with a 1tb, PC SN730 NVMe WDC 1024GB. I ran out of storage a lot faster than I thought so after reading this forum and others I bought the Samsung 970 EVO Plus NVMe M.2 SSD 2TB. My question, is it worth cloning the original drive onto the 970 and making the 970 my boot drive, or just put the 970 in slot 2 and use it as storage?
