2021年11月20日 · Sure, but any 8 inch dado stack will run on the SawStop PCS "without a single issue" until there is a contact incident with the blade that triggers the brake. It is when the dado stack must be stopped in an emergency that they are differentiated from one another. Show those Dadonator photos to SawStop and you may get a different response.

The blade is too far from the brake cartridge in the saw. Use the feeler gauge and Allen wrench to adjust it. The blade touches the brake cartridge. This should never happen.

The cost of a two-firing REAXX cartridge and a single SawStop brake are comparable. * BLADE REUSE AFTER TRIGGERING: When a Bosch REAXX triggers, the blade drops below the table and is undamaged. 2021年5月8日 · In my opinion, the real issue around SawStop lifetime isn't the availability of brake cartridges, it is the computerized switchboxes in the saws themselves. Over time, computer chips fail or are damaged by power glitches, etc. Finding the SawStop-only computer circuit repair part in 40 years might be much more of a challenge.

2023年2月17日 · Since the last time I had to replace a Sawstop brake cartridge they've jumped up another $20 from $75 to 95.. and like an idiot I ran my aluminum miter bar into the blade and...well, there's the whole sad story in a nutshell.. There is a silver lining..I still have all 10 fingers and 10 toes.. At least it didn't occur on a Saturday night.

2009年10月7日 · The Sawstop is made in Taiwan, the blade it comes with is made in China and the only USA made part is the brake system. I think Sawstop is a good idea and I would have bought one if the quality was better and made in the USA. There is already one accident where the blade launched its carbide teeth into a workers forehead.

2015年10月30日 · Swapping brake cartridges between normal and dado is a bit of a nuisance, but I've gotten quicker at the process and the nuisance factor has pretty much gone away. Yesterday I put in the dado cartridge and mounted the dado blades and when I turned on the power found that the saw would not complete the initialization phase.
