If you have more than one drive or partition, make sure to select the fastest drives with maximum free space as your scratch disk(s). 2022年6月6日 · A scratch disk is nothing more that a part of your hard drive that is reserved for PSE to use. It gets used when the ram you have set aside (the default is 70%) gets all used up. Your scratch disk area gets used when what RAM you have set up (That 70% default value) in the performance tab in your editor preferences get "used" with temp files.

2022年6月9日 · I have cleared my scratch disks with WinDirStat and it worked, but when I open a certain .PSB file, it goes back to the issue of scratch disks being full. For reference, I have about 20 GB of free space, and the file is about 1GB, but when I try to open it, my free space goes to just 6GB, and it won't open due to the scratch disk issue.

I've tried manually erasing temp files, I bought an external hard drive so I had another drive option under the scratch disk preferences, other than using the computers hard drive.

2023年7月3日 · There's a simple test you need to do, because it changes completely the direction to go. When you get the message saying scratch disks are full, LEAVE THE MESSAGE ON SCREEN. While the message is on screen, leave Photoshop frozen and go back to Windows and check the free space on your five scratch disks.
