2014年12月20日 · I too had purchased a Sig 516 and was very disappointed in the factory trigger and replaced it. All the quality aftermarket triggers are excellent, especially the Geissele trigger. However I elected to replace my factory trigger with a CMC trigger with a 4 lb pull.

Looking for optics and mounts for my 516 | SIG Talk
2017年3月5日 · A 6-24x50 on my precision Sig 308, sitting on stout Burris rings. A 1-4x24 on ADM quick release mounts on my 516. Someday I hope to get a 6.5mm Grendel upper for the 516. I'd be looking for something over 20x for that, but I'm not sure it's a great fit on a 5.56, maybe a precision rig? (223 Wylde?) Anyway, very happy Vortex Viper PST owner.

2019年10月18日 · 516 Bolt Carriers I don't know about FA, but the bcg you show is the same one in my 7.5" 516 upper that I just purchased from the EE. I noticed that my upper receiver no longer has any lettering naming the part as a SIG 516, and the word SIG is nowhere to be found. This is true of most of Sig's Upper Assemblies now, reason unknown to me.

2020年10月1日 · I have used both Sig lowers and Centurion Arms lowers on my 516's and MCX Virtus rifles. They all work well. I have found the Sig lowers to be particularly well finished, with ambi safety controls. If using a Sig upper, I would prefer a Sig lower, but I won't hesitate to buy another Centurion Arms lower if need be.

2017年9月24日 · Personally, I have great success up to 500 yards with XM193 and XM855. That said, I shoot a Colt HBAR MT6731 [Burris FF] & my Sig M400 E [Sig CP1 RD], not a 516. I have no reason to believe the 516 is poor in the accuracy department. To me, that puts it on either you and your friends - or the 516 itself.

2016年4月12日 · I'm a SIG fanboy, but I have to admit, if I were in the market for an AR, I'd buy a Colt. My 516 was a great rifle, and functioned flawlessly once I sent it back to SIG and they replaced the gas valve. But even then, it is heavy and bulky for what it does. The M400 is probably a great DI gun, but I've just never had an issue with any Colt.
