2024年10月16日 · I made an update to the Slingshot Gameboard where the nylon line that had held the spinners has been replaced threaded steel rods. In order to do that I had to add a middle support. I was trying to keep that space clear but it had to be so the steel rods could be used. In the end it has turned into a much better game board.

2011年1月16日 · Remember though that you can cut a board from multiple starting points and while you may waste some time an effort, most saws designed to go round a curve can can cut out most slingshot frames.Besides the size of the board, the material and its thickness can also be a problem. Steel, and thick plates of G10 or carbon fibre can be hard to cut.

In Texas, only weapons listed by TPWD are legal for taking game, so while it is proven possible to kill a deer with a slingbow, it is not legal to do so in Texas. As for power, very few are capable of managing a slingshot capable of 50+ fpe.

A little sanding with 100 grit and the frame was ready for a couple coats of wipe on polyurethane.
