2024年12月16日 · So today I tried using the 32bit installer. I was able to find the in installed Snipping Tool here: C:\Windows\System32\SnippingTool.exe. That .exe file seems to work (it produces the Snipping Tool window with the "New" option. Clicking New creates a cursor that looks like a plus sign (rather than the scissors I had been getting recently).

Problem is, I have a third party app that I'd rather use for snipping, and Windows' default is overriding my commands, outputs, and settings. I've tried uninstalling "Snipping tool" from apps but the default UI continues to override my preferred tool.
