SOITA provides a variety of services to public school districts in west central and southwestern Ohio. Many private schools, parochial schools, and universities are also served. We are assisted by an Advisory Board made up of area administrators.

WOSU, SOITA, and CET PBS have partnered together to bring you a series of professional learning opportunities for Pk-12 educators. Individual, school, and district subscriptions are available for unlimited virtual courses.

SOITA offers a variety of standards-aligned programs for students, designed and delivered by licensed educators. No videoconferencing system? No problem. Student programs can be presented via Zoom as well as via a traditional H.323 unit such as a Polycom. Programs feature content area topics as well as holidays.

In 2017, the Southwestern Ohio Instructional Technology Association (SOITA), located in Dayton, merged with Think TV.

SOITA/CET offers a wide variety of workshops featuring titles ranging from Google Workspace for Education, to iPads, coding, and makerspaces.
