2021年11月12日 · FWIW Sonus Faber is a wolly owned subsidiary of McIntosh Group which also owns McIntosh Labs. McIntosh labs procuces all of the McIntosh audio products. I have heard that the McIntosh speakers are made buy Sonus Faber or at least the high end models.

2021年12月18日 · The Sonus Faber has a slight dip (I mean slight) in the presents region and a slight rise in the treble at 10k (on axis) to my ear. Focal seems pretty flat to me. I think the focal has a bit more detail across the board but hard to say as they were different systems.

2024年4月29日 · The Serafino and Nova are much better in dynamics and bass punch. They both fill rooms well, super musical speakers. I’d think big transistor mono’s for the Serafino or Nova, and something like tubes or class A, like Audio Research or Pass for the Amator line. Generally the SF team uses Audio Research and McIntosh to voice their stuff.

2021年9月6日 · I moved into a new house and it has a room that is 19’x17’ with a sloped ceiling going from 7’ to 14’. I am going to use this space as a dedicated listening room and media room. I currently have the SF Guarneri Traditions with a pair of Rel S812 subs, but am thinking of upgrading to either the Amati or the Serafino Tradtion.

The three-way floor standing loudspeaker Lumina V | Sonus faber Sadly I was not able to find any dealer with Lumina V, but I visited one which had Lumina III on display. That room was even smaller, around 4m x 3m with concrete floor and the back-wall treated.

2000年1月17日 · I have owned Wilson and Sonus Faber Amati Tradition Homage speakers. When I purchased the SF's, I played them side by side to the Wilson Alexia 1's. There was not even a question in my mind that the SF sounded more musical than the Alexia 1's. I had the Wilson Audio Duette 2's in the past.
