[Acne] Has anyone had good results with spironolactone? Any side ...
Spironolactone cleared my acne when nothing else would. After years and years of skin picking, waking up to new bumps in the morning, avoiding seeing people or looking people in the eye, it took between 3 and 5 months to achieve perfectly clear skin with Spironolactone. One day, 3 months in, it's like the acne just stopped.

2020年5月9日 · A little background: I’ve been dealing with acne at varying levels for the past 6 years. I’ve been on accutane 2x and both times my acne came back about a year later (not as bad). I’ve treated my “fungal acne” and found great success for a bit with that. Now It seems like my skin is regressing a bit and don’t know why.

Spironolactone is a widely, widely used medication in the US. Millions use it every year and its been on the market since the 50’s. Its less so used for acne, derm conditions than it is in the cardiac world for patients with heart failure, edema, and high blood pressure (of course). Its also used in liver failure and ascites.
