    Designed in the early 1960s, the Starduster Too is officially an SA300, for Stolp Aircraft, design number 3. Originally “SA” stood for Stolp/Adams, referencing George Adams, a business partner of Stolp’s in an aircraft windshield molding venture. He contributed indirectly to the SA100 single-seat Starduster and not at all to the SA300.

    Lou Stolp operated out of Compton and Corona airports previously, but privately-owned, charmingly low-rent Flabob is the Starduster Too’s ancestral home because that is where the Too came of age. The company logo is still maintained on the hangar door. Not only was the Too a good fit for its age, it was a new concept in sport biplanes.
