2013年2月17日 · I tried to remove the fuel filter on my Stihl BR600 blower through the filler neck, but the fuel line is too short. Common complaint, I guess. Is this just some kind of planned job security for Stihl service folks? Can anyone tell me, step by step, how to replace the filter easily. It's so simple and quick on other equipment. :frown:

2024年4月4日 · Picked up a Stihl BR420c backpack blower for free, brought it home cleaned it up, replaced the carb. After a couple of pulls, it started right away. I tuned the carb and noticed (after running it for about 10 minutes), had oil dripping on the fuel tank. Took the cover off and found the head gasket was leaking the oil.

2011年7月18日 · My .02. I've had my 500I over two years now. 25" bar/chain. I cautiously broke it in, using Stihl ultra oil, e free 93 fuel. I was ready to toss it only one time. That being when doing some light bucking, 8-10 " ash, it decided not to return to curb idle, but running fast enough to move the chain at a decent speed.

2024年10月30日 · To date, I've only used Stihl oil (orange container, not that super dooper organic synthetic slimy Platinum Chain Lubricant (they don't even call it oil)). After reading what others said, I figured that too cheap means it's probably recycled bear saliva so I amended their suggestion to 'look for the cheapest name brand B&C oil you can find'.
