2017年7月4日 · My personal favorite for a Stout Halfling build is definitely a character concept I carried over from Pathfinder (Society). A Stout Halfling Barbarian Str 15 Dex 14+2 (Halfling) Con 15+1 (Stout) Int 8 Wis 10 Cha 8 Battleaxe/Longsword/Warhammer in two hands (versatile) is only ~1 point less effective than a greataxe, on average.

2018年7月12日 · I played a Stout Halfling Fenzy Barb and it was an EXTREMELY fun character. We did roll stats though so I was able to start 14 Str, 18 Dex, 18 Con, 4 Int, 12 Wis, 6 Cha. I did not roll a 4 but requested it for Int as I wanted to play him as a wild feral animal type.

2017年9月4日 · Fighters only need constitution and their attack attribute, and the extra ASIs give you plenty of wiggle room with attributes. You can be a dexteirty-based fighter with Dueling, Defensive Duelist, and a shield to make yourself practically unhittable in melee. Do that on a Stout Halfling and you should be golden.

2019年2月12日 · Coincidentally enough, once I rolled a random character and I was a Stout Halfling Vengeance Paladin with the Urchin background. All random including the stats(had great stats everywhere except for the 12 Cha) and even rolled a random free feat which I got Magic Initiate for Minor Illusion, Firebolt, and Find Familiar(DM let me have an Imp).

Two of the trades he suggested was trading off Stout Resilience for (a) Darkvision, or (b) advantage on checks related to smell or sound.

It pumps both your secondary stats, but the lack of an Intelligence boost hurts. Human: +1 to all stats. The epitome of boring practicality. Nothing mind-blowing, but not bad either.
