2024年11月11日 · Hello everyone. I purchased my house about a year ago that has an existing chimney/stove pipe system but does not currently have a wood stove hooked up to it. To get the proper draft for the stove I am purchasing (Kuma Aspen LE), I need to extend my stove pipe further than it currently protrudes from my chimney.

2008年12月5日 · The only problem with this stove pipe set is; the wall radiation shield (the insulated through wall connector) is not designed to accept the horizontal pipe at an angle. The 1/4 inch rise per horizontal foot requirement creates a few degrees of angle on the horizontal pipe.

2009年11月28日 · Friends built the addition to our home and installed our stove a little over three years ago. We clean the pipe with a chimney brush monthly from September through May. The past few days, creosote is running down the outside of the pipe that is inside the house, between the ceiling and the stove. The exterior pipe looks fine.

2011年1月21日 · I ended up getting a tube of Permatex Ultra Copper high-temp silicone from an auto supply ($6.99). It is rated at around 625* continuous and 700* intermittant. After cleaning the old cement, we painted the pipe with stove paint, reassembled the pipe assembly to the stove, and installed 3 small screws to each joint.
