2018年8月7日 · The only way to "inspect a roller chain to: 1. take it out and check for "stretch" or 2. Check it in situ for the relative positions of two sprocket relative to "new" condition. The chosen sprockets would need to be indexed when the chain is installed. I have yet to see any mention of timing chain issues in this forum.

2019年11月20日 · timing chain shouldn't need to be replaced unless there is a problem. spark plugs are supposed to be every 60k, but those can go almost twice that. If you haven't had those done, 100k is a good place to do them (although so would the next cycle at 120k if everything is working as it should)
