2023年3月29日 · T55AM1 is hands down the best grinder for the RU tree. Its extremely good while also being really forgiving and pretty fun. Its armor is pretty good in downtiers and extremely hard to deal with if you dont have APFSDS or high pen APDS. It has a stabiliser and LRF.

How versatile is it, and can it deal with uptiers? etc. I watched Sako Sniper's video and he seemed rather unimpressed, but that was when it was at 8.7. I have experience in the T-54 1947 and 1949 as well as the BMP-1.

2019年3月4日 · Last week alone I saw 3 posts of regret purchase of T-55-AM. Generally, buy it if you like ATGM. Armor looks good until you realize in 8.7MM you get oneshot via UFP.

T-55AM1 This is the modernized version of the T-55 with improved fire controls. The Czechoslovak version uses a laser rangefinder mounted over the main gun and a wind sensor. The FSU version incorporates the KTD-2 or KDG-1 laser rangefinder.

On the other hand the T55AM1 has a good round, okay mobility, good armour and an LRF all at a BR where many enemies only have 3/4 of those options. Saying the 2S38 is versatile is like saying the CV9040C is versatile. I think you have the wrong definition of versatility.

2022年4月14日 · From what I’ve read other people say, the t-55AM1 is “easier” to use, and it can be pet if a really solid 8.3 lineup, but the TURMS is arguably more “powerful” for its BR in the right hands.

2022年4月25日 · T-55AM1, its BR is much better with a range of vehicles as well as the fact your not mixed into the TURMS + Moderna one deathers that come with 9.7. T-55AM makes sense as you've got lineups for it already. The T-72AV is an awesome tank but Soviets really do not win a lot in that bracket.

2022年6月12日 · 55am. same tier, way lower BR. also better protected against its peers. The 55 is very strong at its BR, and has good lineup choices. Russia in general is strong at this BR. It’s also a much more forgiving BR range vs hopping into top tier. The TURMS is an alright tank.

Its a tradeoff, turret composite for APS system. Id say firstspawn the AM1 then latespawn the AMD1 to render heli ATGMs useless. Am-1 turret is immune to practically all APDS at range. I think the AMD might be better on long range open maps, why? Fucking alouettes are …
