2023年5月18日 · Perhaps sometimes but this is a tiny tiny minority of inventory vehicles. Tesla makes cars in batches. Lots of those cars end up as inventory vehicles, particularly in time of softening demand. They haven’t truly made “custom ordered” cars in years.

Previously, even though there was no lease buy out directly of a tesla model 3 or Y lease, a person could sell the lease to a third party auto dealer. Tesla stopped that in 2021, however, along with a lot of other auto makers.
