If nothing there, then use a mirror and flashlight to look up inside from the bowl. There is a big difference between using a closet auger in a toilet, and using a closet auger "correctly".

Those things can be a pain as with the spring in them, they can expand and not want to come back out...it is a pain to get it just so so you can compress it so it will fit back out.

2007年7月18日 · It's called a " wash down" as opposed to a "reverse trap" toilet bowl. The latter was a little quieter and a bit more expensive. Closet augers go both ways. Both flush quite well. Auger it. Check the rim flush , make sure water in the bowl is up to it's overflow point. Make sure the water is high enough in the tank.

2017年9月9日 · I sometimes pull the toilet, and auger from the outlet. I try to push out what dropped in to plug it. Sometimes a find a shampoo bottle, or a small toy. I don't know of anything that will dissolve plastic bottles in a trapway. Sometimes I wind up replacing the bowl. Chemicals aren't going to do anything that an auger can't do.

Two theories: 1) The auger head is just stuck in the toilet bend and if I pull hard enough it will come out. How likely is this? 2) The auger head is stuck in a cucumber piece, which is itself stuck.

After ruining at least two cheap ones with skinny coils and barrel shaped heads I finally bought a decent Rigid one with a beefy coil and a football shaped head.
