However you can create new power plans with new names - Custom plans based on the selected plan you start with. Be aware that Power Plans just use the available options, so it was a bit of "Who is on First" to have many power plans.

2015年8月15日 · On Windows 8.1 and before I always needed to run under High performance otherwise EVERYTHING was just noticeably sluggish. I'm pretty sure balanced works more reliably in Win 10 from what I've seen. This is based just on anecdotal evidence.

2020年12月29日 · When I set my power plan to maximum performance, it lowers the brightness of the screen. I do not know why it does this, and this does not happen with power saver or balanced. There is no brightness slider under change plan settings. Does anyone know of a way to fix this? I am on Windows 10.

2020年8月12日 · All laptops which were already configured to show this plan before still show this, but new laptops with clean windows 10 install no longer show the Ultimate power plan no matter what I do. Any suggestsions? I am running Windows 10 pro version 2004 thanks
