Dayton Union Station was a railroad station serving Dayton, Ohio with daily passenger trains of several railroads. The station was located at 251 W. Sixth Street at the intersection of Ludlow Street, and it opened in 1900, replacing an earlier depot built in the mid-1850s.

By the late 1950s, it was already becoming apparent that Dayton area travelers’ railway needs no longer required such a large passenger station.

The new station was built by the Dayton Union Railway (DURY), a company formed in 1892 for the purpose of building and operating the new station. The DURY was also put in charge of operating the joint tracks through the downtown district.

Picture is the remains of what was once the upper level platforms. The rails on the far left and right are the two tracks that are still active today.
