That doesn't make it common, but it's the only one that can be obtained in decent condition without spending a fortune unless you get very lucky. The plum Atlantic UK issue is pressed on superb quality Polydor vinyl.

Jan 1, 2020 · Republic Records issued the Velvet Underground 1969 2xLP, but I don't think many people noticed that, as they are simply a sub-label company owned by UMG. Why would a bootleg company even think to put Republic Records on a boot when that label has only issued one VU album before?

Oct 14, 2014 · The Velvet Underground & Nico V6-5008 - Verve, Stereo, 1967, blue & silver labels - I have had this copy going on 20 years and I still find it to be my favorite version of the album. The sound is warm and a bit cloudy, but the stereo separation is nice and it still has a bite where it needs to.
