2006年1月27日 · I had an incisional hernia before surgery that had been repaired last April. The mesh they used to repair the hernia had adhered itself to my bladder and bowels. The DR had to separate it order to do my hyster. Now I have a buldge in my abdomin where my hernia was before. I think the mesh panel may have come undone.

2018年4月9日 · I have never had diverticulitis or been diagnosed with diverticulosis. There is also a noted small umbilical hernia. I have never been told to have had one prior to hysterectomy or am I able to physically see the hernia as I am overweight. Has anyone ever heard of having a new umbilical hernia develop after abdoinal hysterectomy?

My right side has been hurting worse the last two days--way over to the side and it felt more muscular than anything--so i tried to ignore it, but just now in the shower i noticed a huge lump--or more largely swollen area on my right side --BELOW THE INCISION IN THE PUBIC HAIR AREA.

Tomorrow (August 17th) will be 4 months since my partial hysterectomy. For the last 2 months I have been having this off and on stabbing pain on both sides of my groin; doctor thinks it may be inguinal hernias on both sides.

2024年5月9日 · I had my hysterectomy 3 years ago. I too have an incisional hernia (bulge appeared last week). Maybe due to exercising? I am waiting for a CT scan to see exactly what's going on in there but have been told I will need an operation. I am concerned about mesh because of some news headlines in recent years.

2010年5月15日 · Please let me give some back history here. I am 1 1/2 yrs post TAH and appendectomy.. About 4wks after my TAH, i had a second surgery for a trapped nerve, and they also repaired a hernia they found during that surgery. About 8 more weeks later, i had a third surgery for two more hernia repairs.
