2024年10月27日 · I forgot to mention above, but it also looks like the frets are pretty flat. Potential value of the guitar will depend on fret condition. My 73/74 was purchased with flat frets - playable, but flat. The problem with this era is that the frets usually are embedded in a thick layer of oversprayed poly.

I've seen them regularly for under $500 in VG+ to Ex condition. $700 would have to be for a mint condition, freshly-serviced amp with NOS tubes. Book price is only $500-650 in Ex condition. BTW, there are a few with two inputs as mentioned - but as I recall only in the 65 watt and up models

Been poking around looking at them for the last couple of months; asked about them online and watched a bunch of videos - almost all positive. I had a JCM 900 as my main amp for a long time and I miss that distinctive Marshall tone.

2013年1月2日 · I grew up in Oregon, in the western part of the state, where it doesn't usually get all that cold, but it is damp. When I used to hunt through garage sales and pawn shops, you'd find amps that looked OK on the outside, at least the condition of the tolex and grill, but would have massive rust, particularly on transformers.

2024年11月12日 · IMO - based on the photos - the guitar is likely authentic, but obviously not in original condition. Condition and originality determine value. Keep in mind an authentic body and authentic neck does not mean they left the factory together.
